Infolinks: In-text links with better CPC:

After being tired of Kontera, many of its publishers have turned to Infolinks.Infolinks have returned good results in terms of Cost Per Click.Those who were stuck at $0.02 clicks are now happily seeing them grow to good $0.1 clicks.

What's the advantage?

I.Infolinks offer two types of in-text ads-->

1.Double underlined keywords: This is what is the only way to implement Kontera.Because of double-underlining, one can easily understand that it is an advertisement.This is something we don't want to happen.
2.Single underlined keywords: Advantage! The readers won't be able to point out the difference between ads and the hyperlinks.Even though they refuse to click the ad, atleast they are watching the ad window popping up.If the ad is really interesting, you are bound to get a few clicks.

II.Setting the number of ads per page-->

You have a full control over the number of ads being shown on web page.This makes it easy for publishers.Currently, there is maximum limit of 12 ads per page.

III.Content category-->

In order to get targeted ads, it is really important to let Infolinks to know about the category of the website content.Once this is done, you will not have to do anything to get relevant ads.

It is worth trying!

Adsense gone from blogger blog:

Today, when I checked my blog, could not believe what I was seeing.My adsense ads were gone and replaced by irritating (but helpful to someone) PSAs (Public Service Ads).This generally means that either your account is on hold (due to PIN issue) or there are no ads to show.I checked my account to ensure that I was not banned from adsense.Then I checked my emails, searched for email from Google, but could not find any.Then I started surfing the forums where such problems are raised within no time.It was then found that there was a technical problem with Blogger.Most of the blogger blogs were going through same problem.

From: "Inside AdSense Team"

If you have a Blogger site, some of you may have noticed that your ad units began showing public service announcements (PSAs) in the last nine hours. This was due to a technical issue that we've now identified and resolved. As a result, you should now begin seeing paid ads on your pages again.

If you're still displaying PSAs after 24 hours, we recommend reviewing our Help Center and using our PSA troubleshooter.

Thanks to everyone who helped report this issue, and we appreciate your patience.

The glitch is finally fixed and the ads are back.No need to panic now!!!

Adsense approval gets tougher:

Here is something which may make you upset.Google has made their policies for adsense account approval tougher as comapared to what it was earlier.

What exactly has made it tougher?

1.Your site must be on a TLD (Top Level Domain): No more blogspots/wordpress blogs.Google wants you to buy a domain for your site.This might be a shock for those who have some cool blogspot/wordpress blogs .They won't be able to apply for adsense account with such sites.

2.The domain must be atleast 6 months old: Just having a domain name won't help as Google wants it to be active for last 6 months.

A lots of bloggers have complained about this policy change by Google.
1.One reason behind this might be to reduce the load on their approval system.
2.It is also being said that majority of the adsense account disabled are related with blogspot blogs.
Though the blogspot blogs won't be allowed for adsense account request, it is allowed to put adsense ads on them.That means if you already have adsense account or you got one for a site at TLD, you can still implement the adsense ads on your other sites (including blogspots/wordpress blogs) .

One thing which all must understand is that adsense account is not a right, but a privilage.One must take adsense as a business and hence should be prepared to spend a few bucks for it.
This strict step may increase the overall performance in terms of quality of ads, eCPM and number of advertisers.

Want to Increase the number of clicks? Here are a few tricks:

1.Adding text ads near the images:
You may raise a few doubts regarding adsense TOS, but this trick is safe.We will discuss how to implement it and why it is safe.
Basic concept is adding two ad blocks side-by-side with one block having text ads and other with image ads (that's completely legitimate).The image ads have the ability to attract the readers attention irrespective of what the ad is about.Well, that's what we want! Once the reader gives a look at it, he will take a look at the text ads too.If the text ads are perfectly targeted( matched to the niche), the chances of the visitor clicking the ad are high.
Here is an example of this type of placement:

2.Add the ads in posts:
This trick is pretty old and known to many webmasters.But the problem comes when one tries to implement it.
Here is an example:
A seperate post has been written to help everyone to implement this trick.Read it!

Domain trading: Learn and earn!!!

Do you have a few bucks to spend? Are you looking for some easy,reliable, short term investment? If yes, read the post carefully.You have a good opportunity to generate good profits online.
There are many ways of investment on internet, but this one is quite simple-"The Domain Business".All you need to know is
1.what is domain?
2.how to purchase the domain name?
3.how to select a domain name?
4.how to trade them?

What is domain name?
In a simple way, domain can be described as the name of a website in the huge web of internet.
e.g.
Let's take one example.
www.bloggerscash.net
bloggerscash -->domain name
.net--> it's TLD (Top Level Domain)
You surely have come across many TLDs like ".com",".org",".edu","info",".gov" etc.These are old and well-known TLDs.There are lots of others like ".in",".cn",".ca" which are country specific.

How to purchase a domain name?
To purchase a domain name, you must have an account with the domain registrars.There are many registrars to choose from, but you should select the one which suites you ( especially for the payment method).
Here are a few top registrars:

Name.com

Dynadot.com
Dotster.com

You will have to create a free account at the registrar you have chosen.Then to register (purchase) a domain name, you will need to have a few $.Generally, the top TLDs like .com,.net,.org cost around $8-10 per year depending upon the registrar.Some registrars offer good discounts on your purchase orders.
(If you are looking for a cheap and reliable registrar, I would advice you to go for "Name.com".)

How to select a domain name?
This is the most important step.In order to make sure that you register a good,catchy,demanding domain name, you must go through the articles/discussions at various places on internet.There are a lots of sites which hold a platform for discussions regarding domain market ( like
DigitalPoint forums, IDNForums, iGoldRush).Make sure you know enough about the domain market before entering it.
There are many criteria for choosing a domain name:
1.It should not be too long -say more than 8 characters
2.It should be pronouncable- select Zingo instead of Zyngo
3.If the domain is brandable, it's better.
4.Keyword rich domains are good- e.g.ForexTrading.com or FinanceSecrets.com etc.

How to buy/sell the domain names?
There are a few good places to sell your domains.But before that, you must be familiar with the domain transfer techniques.The domain registars are very helpful if you find any sort of difficulty, but it is better to have sufficient knowledge about some basics.
The procedures for domain push/transfer for different registrars are different.Check the FAQ pages to know how to do it.
Here is a list of sites offering domain trade services:
1.
Sedo
2.
DigitalPoint
3.
Ebay

Some coventions:
L-->Letter
N-->Number
C-->Character
e.g. A4DG.com is of LNLL.com type.

How to evaluate the domain names?
1.Older the domain, higher is it's value.
2.Shorter the domain, higher the value.
